Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM MDT
Event Description:

Idaho National Laboratory’s Technology Deployment is pleased to offer a presentation by Mr. Paul Berg, Senior Software Licensing Manager.

With more than 20 years of experience in software development, Berg is establishing an Open Source Software (OSS) Management Program to facilitate the use and deployment of OSS by INL’s software developers. He is a development director, open source strategy, compliance and licensing specialist and software engineer specializing in large scale systems, cloud technologies and platform development. His previous employers include Amazon and Microsoft.

Not just for software developers, this seminar is for anyone who wants to know more about philosophical debates surrounding intellectual property and how the concept of giving things away for free ended up dominating one of the most profitable sectors of the world’s economy.

Major thanks to INL for offering this workshop FREE to everyone, members or not! Please RSVP.
